Optional Branding Opportunities for Associate Sponsors

For an additional fee: Associate Sponsors may opt for Official Product/Service Designation and/or Venue Branding. The advertising and marketing benefits described below will be provided in addition to the benefits listed above.

"Official" Official Product/Service Designation:

Associate Sponsor's product or service will have “Official/Exclusive” status at the Woodrow Wilson Bridge Half Marathon. No other company in the same industry category will be a sponsor of the event. Examples of official/exclusive sponsorship might include:

• Official Beer of the Woodrow Wilson Bridge Half Marathon
• Official Automotive Sponsor of the Woodrow Wilson Bridge Half Marathon
• Official Bank of the Woodrow Wilson Bridge Half Marathon
• Official Financial Services Company of the Woodrow Wilson Bridge Half Marathon

Venue Branding:

Associate Sponsors may opt to brand one or more of four unique venues within the Woodrow Wilson Bridge Half Marathon. Venue branding benefits are available as described below. WWBHM management will work with sponsor to tailor these venue sponsorships for the greatest exposure.

Finish Line Festival: The Finish Line Festival is held in a scenic outdoor area overlooking the Potomac River. The half marathon physical finish line is located at the entrance to the Finish Line Festival. 6,000-plus registrants will enter the Finish Line and thousands of people including their families, friends, colleagues and volunteers will join them at the festival. The festival includes sponsor and charity partner displays, interactive activities, a beer garden and live entertainment. The Finish Line Festival will operate for more than three hours after the first runner completes the race. The Finish Line Festival sponsor will have high profile branding throughout the Finish Line Festival venue and will receive special public address recognition throughout the festivities.

Entertainment Stage: High energy live entertainment will greet the half marathon runners as they cross the finish line and enter the Finish Line Festival. The Entertainment Stage sponsor will brand the band stage and will be recognized by the band throughout its performance. A sponsor representative will have the opportunity to deliver brief remarks to the audience, during one of the band's breaks. The band stage will also be used for the Woodrow Wilson Bridge Half Marathon Awards Presentation Ceremony to be hosted by a local media personality. In 2010 and 2011 Doreen Gentzler of NBC4: hosted the Awards Ceremony.

EXPO/Packet Pick Up: The EXPO to be held on Friday, October 5, 2012 and Saturday, October 6, 2012 at the Holiday Inn Alexandria SW-Eisenhower Ave. The Holiday Inn is located adjacent to the Eisenhower Avenue Metro Stop and offers public transportation to the EXPO, an option many participants have requested. In addition, the Holiday Inn will serve as the Official Hotel for the WWBHM and will offer discounted room rates to WWBHM participants. WWBHM management will provide free bus shuttle service on the morning of the race from the Holiday Inn to Mount Vernon Estates, the location of the Starting Line. As many as 25 vendors are expected to rent space in the Holiday Inn's Eisenhower Ballroom on Friday and Saturday. All 6,000 WWBHM participants plus their family members and guests will attend the EXPO to pick up their race packets, t-shirts and other running related items sold by vendors throughout Friday and Saturday. WWBHM anticipates about 8,000 attendees: over the two days of the EXPO.

Official Runner Photo Booth Individuals and small groups of runners and their friends and family members will pose for commemorative post half marathon photos at this facility located in the Finish Line Festival. The Photo Booth sponsor will have the opportunity to brand this area in such a way that its logo will be prominently visible in all photos. WWBHM will provide a tent, posing platform and a backdrop frame in front of which the subjects will pose. The Photo Booth sponsor will have the opportunity to design and produce (at its expense) a branded banner to be displayed as the backdrop in the photo booth. The Photo Booth sponsor may provide additional signage and/or branded materials and staff to further enhance the photo booth experience.
